It really has the potential to create some of the wildest looks I’ve seen in the game, and as someone who cares about fashion, 5-6 days of suffering through Iron Banner was worth it to have this shader permanently unlocked, especially given that it will likely never appear in the game again, past these two weeks.ĭoes this system suck? Absolutely. As you can see from my looks here, the amount of potential for different chainmail-based looks with this shader is infinite, and it’s so good it even can ”fix” ugly exotics without good ornaments like Starfire Protocol. And yet I have emerged through the other side of this and I would actually say it was…worth it. But even there, there does not seem to be anything close to knockout protection. The only advice I can give here is focus zero engrams and turn them all in at Rahool. I will consider myself extremely lucky here, given that I know people who played as many games as me and are still missing a piece on their main character. And of course, bubble Titan, where using anything besides bubble Titan for this is going to put you at a severe disadvantage, as I learned while playing Hunter and Warlock for at least two dozen games between them.Īlso during this grind, I managed to get all three sets of armor in full on all three classes. At a certain point, I just embraced the monotony and zoned out with my “best” build, the pretty broken Dead Man’s Tale on PC, which I could hipfire idly for easy kills, Explosive Personality for wave frame AOE clearing (yes I did Witherhoard for a while but it was boring), and then the Seraph linear fusion that I took up about 18 weapon levels passively during this grind.
